As a licensed professional counselor, Katelyn utilizes both a framework of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), two powerful yet distinct approaches that help clients process past experiences while building emotional regulation skills for the present. She believes that healing isn’t about erasing what happened—it’s about learning how to move forward in a way that feels safe, empowered, and authentic to you.

With DBT, Katelyn helps clients manage intense emotions, develop distress tolerance, and strengthen relationships through practical, evidence-based strategies. Using EMDR, she guides individuals through reprocessing traumatic experiences, allowing them to reduce emotional distress and gain a sense of control over their past. By integrating these approaches, Katelyn tailors treatment to each person’s unique needs, ensuring therapy is both effective and meaningful.
